Works great in the box, and I was surprised to see how he did it with 1GB of RAM. I also ordered a 2GB stick of Crucial as recommended by Crucial, and that's where the problems started. The door has a screw that has a return on it to prevent it from sliding out. You have to unscrew until you hear popping, and seem to strip, then just go on and lift the door. (It would have been nice to know.) After installing the key to 2GB, I noticed several problems, the first thing that happened, the screen is frozen-corrupt-mad do you want to call it, when I plugged the power cord during use computer. The only way to silence him has been turned off, then save. You can disconnect the cable when you use it, but not plug-inch screen messed up every time. An updated driver from Asus website graphics took care of that, yay! However, there were other probs with the arrest and sleep. Each time the computer needed to restart after an update - andThere have been many, would not be restarted. The screen goes black, but never drive powers up. Again, the only way to recover was to power up and down. So usually get a version of "Windows was not properly closed" or "you want to upload?" Or "your last browsing session was adjourned," etc., etc.. Furthermore, it is the message "Boot Booster does not work" by the BIOS flash, even though I went into BIOS, disabled, enabled him, so I saved the 2 GB of RAM, as indicated. Again this process several times. Boot Booster does not work. Asus recommendation is to flash the BIOS. It could, perhaps-how. might work. But then again, I read a lot of forums cries for help when it does not work and is used to restart everything, I could just stick the 1GB back in worked fine, and return most of 2GB is what I think will. I already spent too much time on this road, andstill buggy. I just wanted to see the inside of my computer is never once and bios. I was too well with both.

And 'strong and makes an internal microphone is useless when the microphone picks up noise. Touch Pad is overly sensitive, but may be a conversion of Ubuntu.
